US live/work market picking up?

A dormant major live/work site in Santa Cruz, California, is now in development.

The new low energy development, in the Delaware district of the city, was put on hold during the recession. Now it is expectecd to provide around 145 live/work units on a site which could generate around 500 jobs.

The development is led by Redtree properties, with designs by local architect Mark Primack.
